These are images of flowers I have taken over the years. Why flowers? When I was about 13 my Uncle Jerry gave me his Konica Autoreflex T. Inlcuded in the set were wide angle, telephoto and macro lenses. Boy, was this cool. Considering until this point I thought a camera was a black square you shoved in your pocket.  This was magic. I immediately fell in love with the macro lense and started taking close up photos of everything. I turned to flowers because of the color and endless variety. To this day I prefer this 30+ year old camera for macro photos to the variety of digital cameras I have owned. Someday I am sure to purchase a digital SLR. For now though, they are too expensive and I am happy remembering my uncle every time I take a picture with my good old standard 35mm.
